Dear colleagues,
the 8th International Congress of the European Society for Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy (#ESPT2025) is upcoming! It will be held from Wednesday November 5th to Saturday November 8th 2025 in the exciting city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands! The congress will be held in at “De Doelen”, a congress venue located just opposite of the Central Train Station and only 30 minutes away by train from Schiphol Airport.

#ESPT2025 will again bring together leading international scientists, healthcare professionals, pharmacists, laboratory specialists, clinicians, students, GPs, regulators and industry representatives to exchange the latest knowledge on pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy during this great 4-day event. This 8th congress follows successful events in the previous years (Copenhagen 2023, Belgrade 2021, Seville 2019, Catania 2017, Budapest 2015, Lisbon 2013, Bled 2011).

The congress will consist of no less than 40 world class plenary speakers, addressing current aspects and future directions on Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Medicine, and includes Clinical Implementation, Psychiatry, Oncology, Liquid Biopsy, Cardiology, Diabetes, Solid Organ Transplantation, Pediatrics, Regulatory Aspects, Genotyping technologies, Decision Support Tools and National Society Initiatives. There will be poster sessions, break out symposia, industry workshops and a Discussion Forum on Saturday morning to discuss the way forward.

The #ESPT2025 congress will provide the opportunity for all stakeholders in the pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics field to share their experiences in basic, clinical and translational aspects. And off course also to catch up with many colleagues working in this field! Young researchers are especially invited to join us in Rotterdam to share and discuss their input with the attendees in the poster sessions or present their work in one of the oral sessions.
